Who controls your data

What we collect and why

• Account data (name, email, login credentials or Google sign-in identifier) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Profile and resume data (resume text, headline, target role, location, skills, years of experience) — to generate job matches. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
• Activity data (jobs you swipe, save, apply to and their status) — to keep your lists and improve suggestions. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in improving the product.
• Support messages — to answer your questions. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Technical data (device and browser type, IP address, basic usage logs) — for security, fraud prevention and reliability. Legal basis: legitimate interests and legal obligation.

We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Who we share it with

• Hosting, database and authentication providers that run the app.
• The AI provider that generates matches — your resume text is sent so suggestions can be produced.
• Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of the subscription, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
• Professional advisers (legal, accounting) where needed.
• Authorities where required by law.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the EU, UK and the United States. Where required, transfers rely on adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is open. Uploading a new resume replaces the previous one. When you delete your account, your profile, matches and lists are deleted or anonymised, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

Your rights

You can access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your data, request a portable copy, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. Email us and we will respond within one month. If you are in the UK or EEA you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies and local storage — to keep you signed in and remember your light or dark theme. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can clear or block them in your browser, but sign-in will stop working.

Security

Data is stored on managed, access-controlled infrastructure with encryption in transit and row-level access rules so each account can only read its own records. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
